Abstract

The Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project is a cross-disciplinary initiative aimed at fostering character development aligned with Pancasila values to prepare students for 21st-century challenges. This community engagement program, conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Jayapura, focused on implementing the "Voice of Democracy" project to develop collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity through a simulated election for Ikatan Pelajar Muhammadiyah (IPM) leadership. The program utilized discussions, presentations, and mentoring across planning, implementation, evaluation, and reporting phases. Activities included module development, facilitator team formation, collaboration with the General Elections Commission (KPU), and a student-led election simulation. The results showed enhanced teacher capability in managing P5 projects and improved student understanding and application of democratic principles. Challenges, such as technical issues during the election process, were addressed flexibly, adhering to P5’s holistic and exploratory principles. The program successfully promoted democratic values and Pancasila principles while creating a collaborative and engaging learning environment.
