This research is motivated by the suboptimal cognitive development of children aged 4-5 years, especially in terms of recognizing geometric shapes and colors and the lack of use of learning media to recognize these two things. Smart Wooden Maze Circle or APE Smacle is expected to solve this problem. The purpose of this study was to determine the eligibility level of APE smacle based on the validation of material experts from media experts. Knowing the child's response level to APE smacle is reviewed based on the child's response. The type of research used is the Borg and Gall model development research adapted by Sugiyono. The research subjects were experts and children aged 4-5 years at Kemala Bhayangkari 89 Kindergarten and Mustika Kindergarten. Data collection techniques using interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that: 1) Feasibility in introducing geometric shapes and colors to children aged 4-5 years got a score of 4.5 (very feasible) which was reviewed based on the assessment of the validation of material experts getting a value of 4.8 (very feasible) and expert validation media gets a value of 4.2 (decent). 2) The child's response gets a value of 3.5 (very good) which is reviewed based on the results of the evaluation of the product trial step with a value of 3.5 (very good) and the usage trial with a value of 3.6 (very good)
