TINJAUAN HUKUM ISLAM TERHADAP BUDAYA TRANSAKSI HUTANG PIUTANG MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM SENTASEN DI DESA TELANG KECAMATAN KAMAL KABUPATEN BANGKALAN

Abstract

The desire to live decently and always be sufficient forces humans to be able to meet the needs of life every day by carrying out various economic transactions such as debt and receivable transactions using the Sentasen system as a hereditary activity of the people of Telang Village, Kamal District, Bangkalan Regency. This type of qualitative field research (field research) is descriptive analytical using a normative-empirical approach which is then analyzed using an inductive method. The results of this study indicate that the practice of debt and credit transactions uses the sentasen system, i.e. people who have an interest until the end, when the time comes. The culture of debt and receivable transactions using the Sentasen system is considered haram because it includes Riba, namely the addition of the initial nominal amount and is categorized as Riba Qardhi.
