Abstract

Psychological Empowerment or psychological empowerment is a psychological state described in four sets of cognitions which include meaning, competition, self-determination, and impact. Psychological empowerment helps the development of employees and lecturers to become more effective in an educational institution through the social interactions that occur within it. Therefore, this study examines the role of Psychological Empowerment in order to improve the performance of employees and lecturers and help them become more active in an educational institution through the social interactions that occur within it. The author contributes to researching and further understanding the performance of lecturers and staff at KH University educational institutions. A. Wahab Hasbullah uses a qualitative methodology to obtain information by way of describing, analyzing, and further surveying an educational institution to improve the performance of an institution. The type of qualitative approach used is the phenomenological method, the subjects are mostly lecturers and employees because respondents play an important role in improving the performance of an educational institution.
