Abstract

Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Surabaya Diponegoro which is a bank financial institution which has the task of collecting and distributing financing. As one of the institutions that has an important role in capital, of course indirectly, employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Surabaya Diponegoro have duties and responsibilities, and have targets for each period to be able to collect or provide financing to the community, which of course is not easy, the leadership factor is very important. necessary to motivate employees to carry out their assigned duties and responsibilities. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the Islamic leadership style applied and how this leadership style can increase the work motivation of employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Surabaya Diponegoro. In this research, qualitative research methods were used, data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation methods. Based on research results, the Islamic leadership style applied at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Surabaya Diponegoro is a Democratic leadership style typology. This leadership style is good at increasing employee motivation, this is proven by the existence of a harmonious, open work environment and providing good motivation and appreciation to subordinates.
