Abstract

Simfoni Nusantara learning book is a violin-oriented learning book of archipelago. The purpose of making the book, because Currently the love of Indonesian culture is increasingly eroded, it happens because of the increasing number of social media both mass media and electronic media that displays all kinds of entertainment that interest all generations, thus making easy foreign culture from all sorts of directions to go to Indonesia. This research uses 4D Method which consists of 4 development stages namely Define, Design, De-velop, and Disseminate. The results of this research development, among oth-ers, the process of developing the book symphony archipelago, the quality of the symphony book archipelago, and the effectiveness of the book symphony archipelago. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the development of Simfoni Nusantara book with the material of the archipelago song for beginner to intermediate beginner violin students is said to be success-ful and feasible to be applied to violin learning in non formal music institution. This study produced a violin textbook entitled "Simfoni Nusantara Violin Book".
