Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a practicum module based on guided inquiry to train students' scientific process skills that is valid based on the results of validation by two experts. The model used in this study is a model 4-D consists of four phases: definition, design, development, and disseminate. From these four phases, three phases are used up to the development stage. Validation of research instruments and practical modules that will be used for testing to teaching materials experts and content experts. There are five aspects that are assessed from this module, including didactic, construction, technical aspects, the suitability of the module with the guided inquiry model, and science process skills. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the practicum module based on guided inquiry to facilitate students’ science process skills is valid. This is indicated by the average percentage in all aspects reaching 88.37% with a very valid category.
