Hukum Transaksi Transpalasi Organ

Abstrak

Organ transplantation is one of the medical advancements aimed at alleviating human suffering and enhancing the quality of life for patients. However, it has sparked discussions and debates, particularly concerning legal and religious aspects. Over time, numerous issues have arisen, some of which are in conflict with Islamic law, as many individuals exploit opportunities for organ transplantation transactions. Presently, organ transplants have become commonplace due to socioeconomic disparities and other factors, with little regard for established rules and Islamic law. From the perspective of Islamic law, organ transplantation is considered impermissible, a viewpoint that is based on the consensus (ijma) of scholars and rooted in Quranic guidance, particularly in Surah Al-Ma'idah, verse 32. This prohibition stems from the belief that organ transplantation activities violate or run counter to Islamic principles. Such procedures may also pose a threat to one's life and, in essence, undermine the sanctity of Allah's creation. Consequently, in this context, I will elucidate the legal aspects of organ transplantation transactions in Islamic jurisprudence.
