Analisis Keterampilan Bertanya Siswa Kelas X dalam Proses Belajar di SMA Swasta Semen Padang

This research aims to analyze the questioning skills of tenth-grade students at Semen Padang Private High School during the teaching and learning process. Questioning skills are an essential component of learning that can enhance students' understanding and engagement. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, with a population of 136 students and a sample of 104 respondents from the tenth-grade students. This study employs Proportional Random Sampling technique, and the instrument used for data collection is a questionnaire structured according to the Likert scale model. Data analysis is conducted using Microsoft Excel statistical program. The results show that overall, students' questioning skills are in the High category, with a percentage of 46%. However, there is variation in each indicator score, indicating that there is still room for improvement, particularly in certain aspects. This research is expected to provide input for guidance counselors in enhancing students' questioning skills through counseling services, as well as encouraging students to be more active in the learning process.
