Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can manuscripts be submitted via email?

No. All manuscripts must be submitted through the Literasi Nusantara Online Journal System (OJS). Submissions sent via email will not be processed to ensure a transparent editorial record.

2. How long does the article processing take?

The average processing time for a manuscript is as follows:

  • Initial Screening & First Decision: ± 7–14 days.

  • Review Process to Acceptance: ± 60 days.

  • Acceptance to Online Publication: ± 14 days (after the APC payment is confirmed).

  • Processing times may vary depending on the author's revision speed and reviewer availability.

3. What are the publication fees?

  • Submission Fee: IDR 0 (Free).

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 400,000 (Payable only after the manuscript is officially Accepted).

4. Where can I download the manuscript template?

The manuscript template can be downloaded from the sidebar of the official Literasi Nusantara website under the "Journal Template" or "Author Guidelines" section.

5. Is it possible to obtain an expedited Letter of Acceptance (LoA)?

No. A Letter of Acceptance (LoA) is issued only after the manuscript has successfully passed the Double-Blind Peer Review and has been formally declared Accepted by the Editor. We do not issue LoAs upon submission.

6. Can I withdraw my manuscript?

  • A manuscript may be withdrawn if it has not yet been assigned to reviewers.

  • If a manuscript is withdrawn during or after the review stage, sanctions may apply, including a temporary ban on future submissions, in accordance with the journal’s ethical policy.

7. What is the maximum acceptable plagiarism percentage?

The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%. Authors are strongly encouraged to conduct a self-check using Turnitin or similar software before submitting their work.

8. Is Ethical Clearance required for educational research?

For research involving human subjects (such as students or teachers) in a sensitive or clinical manner, an Ethical Clearance certificate is recommended. For standard Classroom Action Research (CAR) or descriptive studies, a formal permission letter from the school or relevant institution is generally sufficient.

9. How many times is the journal published each year?

Literasi Nusantara is published three (3) times a year, with issues released in March, July, and November.

10. How many articles are published in each issue?

Each issue of Literasi Nusantara typically publishes between 5 to 15 high-quality articles that have passed the selection process.

11. Does the manuscript have to be in English?

Literasi Nusantara accepts manuscripts in both Indonesian and English. However, submitting in English is highly encouraged to increase global visibility and citation potential.
